Magnesia brick product introduction
Magnesia bricks are alkaline refractory materials with a magnesia content of more than 85% and periclase as the main crystal phase. Magnesia bricks are refractory bricks made of fused magnesia and sintered magnesia fired at high temperatures.
Magnesia bricks have high refractoriness, good resistance to alkaline slag, high starting temperature of softening under load, but poor thermal shock resistance. Sintered magnesia bricks use brick-making magnesia bricks as raw materials. After crushing, batching, mixing, and shaping, they are fired at a high temperature of 1550 to 1600°C. The firing temperature of high-purity products is above 1750°C.
Magnesia bricks are mainly used for alkaline open-hearth furnaces, electric furnace bottoms and walls of steelmaking, permanent linings of oxygen converters, non-ferrous metal smelting furnaces, high-temperature tunnel kilns, calcined magnesia bricks and cement rotary kiln linings, and the bottoms and furnaces of heating furnaces. Wall, glass kiln regenerator checker bricks, etc.
